Microsoft 365 licensing for financial institutions

Same Microsoft prices. Simpler to choose. Your tenant arrives hardened.

A hardened tenant

Guardian Foundation is included at no extra charge on every plan. We configure the tenant to our security baseline rather than handing you the defaults.

Security Insights

A recurring report your executives and examiners can actually read, showing what your Microsoft 365 security posture looks like and what moved.

Tier 1, direct

We buy your licenses straight from Microsoft rather than through a distributor, which is also how we get direct escalation when something breaks.

Built for your exam

We manage Microsoft 365 for 750+ financial institutions, so the configuration is mapped to the rules you are examined against, not to a generic template.

Smaller plans and add-ons

Most institutions land on one of the three above. These cover the edges.

Business Basic
$7.00
Web and mobile Office only, with email and Teams. Rarely the right answer for a regulated institution.
Apps for business
$10.00
Desktop Office apps and storage, without email or Teams.
Defender Suite add-on
$10.00
Adds the full Defender stack and Entra ID P2 on top of Business Premium. Licence all seats, not a pilot.
Purview Suite add-on
$10.00
Retention, eDiscovery and information protection on top of Business Premium.
Defender and Purview
$15.75
Both suites together. Usually the better buy for an institution carrying retention obligations.
Teams Phone Standard
$18.00
Business phone system inside Teams, with a cloud calling plan available separately.

Tell us the seat count and we will price it

A licensing specialist confirms the plan mix, checks whether your current tenant is leaving money on the table, and sends the numbers back. No obligation, and nothing changes in your tenant.

What buyers ask us first

No, and you should be sceptical of anyone who says otherwise. You pay Microsoft's list price either way. What changes is what you get around the licence: your tenant is configured to our security baseline at no extra charge, you get Security Insights reporting, and you get a partner who manages Microsoft 365 for 750+ financial institutions rather than a billing portal.
A Tier 1 provider buys licences directly from Microsoft. A Tier 2 provider buys through a distributor and resells them. The practical difference shows up when something goes wrong: we escalate directly to Microsoft rather than through another company's support queue.
If you want risk based access controls to actually enforce, yes. Business Premium includes Entra ID P1, and Microsoft requires Entra ID P2 for risk based Conditional Access policies. On a Premium only tenant those policies can be deployed and still sit dormant. The add on also brings Privileged Identity Management, which is the hardest thing to defend in an examination when it is missing. One caution: licence every seat rather than a subset, because Microsoft does not support mixed licensing for endpoint protection.
The Business plans on this page cap at 300 seats across your whole tenant. Above that the answer is an enterprise plan, which is priced differently and is a conversation rather than a page. Tell us your seat count and we will show you the comparison.
Yes. Changing your Cloud Solution Provider transfers the billing relationship, not your data. Your tenant, your mailboxes, your files and your users all stay exactly where they are. We time the transfer to your existing renewal date so you are not paying twice.
Yes. We manage your Microsoft 365 tenant and we host your Azure environment, including the line of business systems that run there such as Calyx PointCentral and MortgageExchange. Azure is priced on consumption rather than per user, so it is quoted separately.

Not sure which plan you are on today?

Most institutions we talk to are paying for seats nobody uses, or are missing a control they assume they already have. A licensing specialist will tell you which, in about twenty minutes, whether or not you buy anything.
