ABT was created in 1999, our business focus is and always has been hosting Mortgage Software
- We create an alternative to self-hosting, providing a new delivery option for the Mortgage Industry, Outsourced Software Hosting Services
- We build our first hosting environment in a nearby "enterprise class" data center
2000 ABT launches our first Credit Union hosting client. A major Credit Union (based on the West Coast) engages ABT to host their Interlinq Mortgage Loan Servicing Software (now known as Harland Financial Services "Servicing Director"
In 2002, ABT complete our first SAS 70 Audit.
Most hosting companies do not go through this audit themselves. The certification is costly and takes several months to complete. This certification need to be updated on a regular basis. By engaging this audit ourselves we have attracted and retain high profile financial institutions. Everyone who hosts with ABT falls under this certificaion, which is important as regulatory requirements continue to get stricter. This certification document is available to any of our clients.
ABT is approached by another West Coast Credit Union to host their Loan Origination System (LOS), Calyx Point. ABT begins analyxix and testing to ensure we can provide a solid delivery
In 2003 ABT's first hosted Calyx Point cleint, is launched. Delivered from an Enterprise Class Data Center, Calyx is securely delivered of the the internet using our own delivery platform, PowerCore. A process that ends up being repeated hundreds of times in the following years.
Other Milestones in 2003 include:
- Engaged to intergrate Calyx Point Software with other software platforms
- Calyx management asks to come to our headquarters to look over our DataCenter and hosting processes. After their visit, ABT becomes the only approved hosting solution for their Calyx Point Software.
- ABT reputation for delivering an exceptional user experience expands cleint base. Additional Credit Unions and Bank as well as Mortgage Brokers are added
Through 2005 ABT continues to grow our client list of Hosted CalyxPoint Clients. Mortgage Brokers who like the idea of having mortgage experst provide the hosing of their software provide solid growth year after year. The idea of getting away from internal hosting's costs is catching on in greater numbers.
2005 also saw the introduction of Calyx's new product called Point Data Server (PDS). This product has evolved and is now part of a solution called PointCentral. PDS provides a centralized database for loan files.
2006, ABT launches the first hosted solution for Point Data Server for a mortgage Brokerage company who wanted to integrate a number of offices to one Database.
This year also marks ABT's environment build out in a second Data Center, to help handel our growth.
2007 marks the year when, ABT builds out another hosting environment in a third data center. This additional location meets the needs of our Financial Institution cleints who require Disaster Recovery environment be located more than 250 miles for the primary environment.
2008 ABT purchases and builds our our new ABT Corporate Headquaters.

Clients are looking for solid companies to work with. ABT made the investment of purchasing our own building. We felt that the client's wanted to work with an organization that was in business for the long haul.
We purchased a building shell and a year later proudly opened Folsom Business Center. It has become a Folsom area Executive Office showcase and where ABT along with 32 other businesses call home.
In 2009, our studies identify that the internet latency is becoming a factor in the end user experience. The only way to overcome this is to get the users hosted environment closer to the user. We found our east coast and mid-west cleints would be better served by an environment located closer to the middle of the US. We begin our search for the best Data Center location to build our next hosting environment.
2009 and 2010, Chicago is picked for our most recent data center presence, due to the major internet trunk lines routed through that area. We spend 4 months setting up our new environment and begin moving our east coast and midwest client's there.
2011 and 2012 continues to be a year of refining and improving our services along with the continued growth of our Calyx PointCentral Clients. ABT will also complete our SSAE 16 Type 2 audit in 2012.
