Position: IT Help Desk – Entry Level

Job background: Our company is the leading provider of cloud computing services in the mortgage industry, and a Certified Microsoft Partner. Our help desk provides technical support to our clients nationwide.

Job Duties:Successful applicants *must demonstrate* experience in customer service, high call volume environments and knowledge in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server environments. A successful candidate will be a true team player, outgoing, mature, open to receiving instruction, able to multi-task effectively and communicate clearly with customers and team members. We are looking to add members to our work-family, not just hire an employee.

Cloud Systems Engineer

Are you a top-notch Information Technology (IT) professional, who is looking for an exciting hands-on position as a Systems Engineer? Your mission will be to delight your customers with spectacular systems engineering that keeps things running and continually improves performance through innovation and new technologies. The person who fills this role will join an elite group of Systems Engineers dedicated to providing infrastructure and 3rd level technical support and problem resolution in support of cloud-based computer systems, hardware, software, and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with on-premise Windows servers and storage using Microsoft, VMWare, HP StoreVirtual (formerly LeftHandOS), Intel Server Systems, or other server/storage products and services.
  • Work with Cloud Windows servers, storage, networking and services on Azure and Amazon AWS.) Administer on-premise server networking and load balancing using Cisco, Sonicwall, Microsoft, VMWare, or other products and services
  • Supervise enterprise server & data center monitoring, performance and reporting technologies, such as SCOM, ManageEngine EventLogAnalyzer, or other products and services
  • Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery services to support high-availability and recovery needs
  • Support IT security functionality, as it relates to maintaining a secure infrastructure environment
  • Administer middleware/front-end technology such as reverse proxies, or other middleware products or services
  • Support MS Exchange and SQL Servers
  • Deploy and support client corporate and branch office LAN
  • Perform hardware, firmware, OS and software updates to platform systems
  • Share tier II on-call schedule
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Systems Engineer for a medium to large-sized (500+ nodes) network
  • Strong technical, quantitative, & analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
  • Ability to think strategically & translate strategy into action plans
  • Experience in root cause analysis and network performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with recovery methodologies & technologies supporting an enterprise-wide DC environment
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and storage functionality, capabilities, and limitations
  • Possess working knowledge of IT Security, as it relates to building secure infrastructure environments
  • Experience in installing, managing, and monitoring servers on Azure /Amazon AWS / Vcloud Air a plus
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and responsibilities
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties:
  • Actively perform cold calling and create new leads
  • Developing differentiating communication follow-up designed to increase interest in our mortgage cloud offerings
  • Qualify inbound inquiries
  • Setup qualified sales appointments
  • Work marketing strategies and collateral, conference planning, monitoring and generating a blog, facebook, and other social media.
  • Demonstrate core competencies of ABT's mortgage cloud services, including knowledge of the products' key functions and differentiation in the market
  • Independently develop your knowledge of the mortgage cloud solutions and mortgage industry to fill your pipeline
  • Document lead qualification activities within CRM system to ensure continuity of the prospective lead
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly goals.
  • Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities in the Independent Mortgage Banking vertical.

  • Ability to prospect and cold call

  • Ability to network and engage with new clients
  • Products are technology based -- "Cloud" solutions
  • Position requires skills in consultative sales. Sales are monthly re-occurring so positive relationships are key.

  • Some Experience with Microsoft SQL is a plus but not required
